A few good
questions.

Less figuring things out. More getting to the fun part.

Do I need to be good at drawing?

No freehand design is needed. Fill the closed outlines using the colour map. Shapes are checked for a round pen width of at least 2 mm. Choose a larger pen width for more generous shapes.

What exactly do I download?

Two PDFs: clean guidelines to print, and a colour preview with photo positions, a numbered colour map and painting steps. More photos may create more artwork sheets, but there are still just two PDF files.

Can I use acrylic pens with a laser printer?

Print on compatible blank paper once, then paint. Never put painted paper or glued photos back through a printer. The default workflow keeps colour areas separate, so you do not cover up later outlines.

Will there be print marks on my artwork?

No. Guidelines contain only the drawing boundaries. Registration marks, calibration squares, photo labels and colour numbers are kept off the artwork. Instructions and numbers are in the separate preview PDF.

Do I need transfer paper or printer calibration?

Not for the default print-once method. For overlapping paint layers without transfer paper, select paper stencils, print the templates on ordinary paper, cut out the openings and trace each step. Cutting and alignment take some care.

What about an inaccurate home printer?

The default design allowance is 1 mm, and frames extend beneath photos. Printing once avoids repeat-feed alignment. This does not correct arbitrary shrinkage, skew or warped paper. Use Actual size / 100%, not Fit or Shrink.

Can I use transparent markers or watercolour?

Yes, with the print-once method. Faint printed lines may remain visible under transparent colour, and actual colours depend on the paper. Test paper, printer ink and drawing materials for compatibility.

Do I have to upload my photos?

No uploads are needed. Create photo groups: set the number of photos, their printed width and height, and orientation once per group. Add another group for a different size or orientation. The template leaves spaces for your printed photos. The public version allows up to 12 photos per generation; the paid version allows up to 100 photos per generation.

How do the licenses work?

Image generation is free, including without an account. A one-week license costs €4.99 once and expires after seven days. Lifetime access costs €99 once. The fixed 12-month option has 12 monthly installments of €9.99, a €119.88 total commitment, and stops automatically at the end of the contract. None of these new licenses renew automatically. Availability is shown on Pricing. Existing subscriptions retain their original terms and can be managed in Account.

Can I keep my PDFs after my license ends?

Yes. PDFs you already downloaded remain yours to use. Saved projects stay in your account, but new printable PDF downloads need an active license. Deleting your account also deletes its projects.
